The EDIPT Method: Empathy, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test
At Tea Rose Studio, we believe that great design starts with empathy. The EDIPT method is a core part of our approach, providing a structured yet flexible framework to develop solutions that truly resonate with users. First, we begin with Empathy—understanding the needs, frustrations, and goals of the people who will use our designs. This insight drives the Define stage, where we clarify the problem and set clear project goals. Next, in the Ideate phase, our team brainstorms a variety of solutions, thinking creatively about different ways to address the challenge. Once ideas are generated, we move to the Prototype stage, creating initial models that bring concepts to life. Finally, we Test these prototypes with real users, gathering feedback to refine and improve the design. The EDIPT method allows us to develop meaningful, user-centered solutions that make a difference in our clients’ success.
